I am a lecturer in cybersecurity at the University of Aberdeen. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security in the group of Prof. Dr. Cas Cremers. I received my DSc (Tech.) in Computer Science from Aalto University, where I worked in the Secure Systems Group under the supervision of Prof. Tuomas Aura.

My core research areas include network security, applied cryptography, and formal methods. I am particularly interested in security-critical system design and development, with a focus on formal verification of cryptographic protocols.

In my research, I use formal methods to analyze the security and privacy of cryptographic protocols in distributed systems. In addition to discovering flaws in existing applications, I am also interested in developing and standardizing new communication protocols that provide provable security and privacy guarantees.
